As consultants, Urban Community Partners offers strategic real estate development services to land owners, other developers and builders, cities, public institutions, financial institutions and public and/or private partnerships.

These services include:
Visioning and Placemaking, Financial Analysis, Project Management, Entitlements, and other targeted real estate development services such as project feasibility, property acquisition, and disposition.

The principals of Urban Community Partners, Ian Gillis and Keith McCoy, have an extensive array of experience and understanding of the complex nature of real estate development, especially in California. We have worked on complicated urban infill, redevelopment, mixed use and brownfield developments as well as large subdivisions and master planned communities. We have a unique understanding and experience planning and developing on former military bases and applying the principals of Traditional Neighborhood Development and New Urbanism.

Acting as either principals in their own projects, or as consultants, Ian and Keith have established themselves as leaders in the real estate development services industry. Their collaborative approach, enthusiastic and analytical personalities and attention to details have helped to define the success of their practice.

Prior to forming Urban Community Partners, Ian and Keith held executive level positions with Fortune 500 international development companies. They have served on the boards on numerous non-profits and have been guest speakers and facilitators at national and international real estate conferences.
