Urban Community Partners is honored to have recently been accepted as an Enrolled Practice and Professional Member of the Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment in the United Kingdom. Urban Community Partners supports the principles of the Prince’s Foundation and endeavors to apply them to each of our projects.

Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales, The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment is an educational charity which exists to improve the quality of people’s lives by teaching and practicing timeless and ecological ways of planning, designing and building. The Foundation works with a growing network of partners and recognized leaders in the United Kingdom and worldwide. Its members believe that if they can understand and apply time-tested principles, building once more in a sustainable way, they will reap improvements in public health, in livelier and safer streets and in a more affordable lifestyle for families and individuals. The Foundation also believes that neighborhoods exhibiting these sustainable characteristics will accrue higher value over time.
