The creation of a 36-acre Natural Habitat park adjacent to the Carmel River will be accessible through a new public trail and bridge system that will be available for the first time to the general public. This trail system will be owned and maintained in perpetuity for the benefit of the Carmel Valley environment. This trail system will allow an adjacent Junior High School to have direct access to the river where they can study first hand the valuable river habitats.
