Laurel Yuma, AZ
Laurel is located in Yuma, Arizona, near the confluence of the Gila and Colorado Rivers in the southwest corner of the state, on the border with California and near the border of Mexico. Laurel has been embraced by the community as a new mixed use master planned community and will include up to 1,200 homes (single family detached, carriage units, town homes, live/work, apartments), commercial/retail, main street style retail and village green, public plazas, water features, parks, trails, a local operating farm and community gardens.
“Smart Growth” design principles such as pedestrian oriented streets, a mix of uses and housing types, plentiful parks and public spaces will make Laurel a unique place to live, work and recreate. The Laurel neighborhood is located near existing schools, shopping and local businesses. With a year round temperate climate, Yuma boasts more sunny days than any other city in the US.
