Mills Ranch King City, CA
Mills Ranch is located in King City, California, about a one hour drive on historic Highway 101 south of the City of Salinas. Mills Ranch was planned as Mixed Income Traditional Neighborhood Development comprising 400 new homes, parks, trails and open space. The design for the new neighborhood, which is adjacent to existing residential uses and agriculture, was the result of an extensive community Design Charrette and public outreach.
Defining the “Agricultural Edge” with a system of parks and drainage systems, Mills Ranch provides a variety of house types that are accessed by lanes and garages tucked behind. The Mills Ranch Pattern Book was developed as a tool to ensure initial construction and future house modifications are properly executed according to the design guidelines.
