Alameda Civic Center Alameda, CA
Urban Community Partners, LLC was retained by the City of Alameda to undertake a public visioning and planning exercise to facilitate the re use of under performing City real estate assets and to create a unifying vision for the City’s Civic Center.
The goal is to develop a long term vision for the revitalization of the Civic center area to make it more pedestrian friendly, increase retail shopping and nightlife,along with increased residential opportunities.
Working closely with local government and key stakeholders, an overall vision and economic plan, including specific catalyst projects, was generated which, with further Council and public involvement and direction, will drive the City strategy for its Civic Center area.
