Monterey Downs and Monterey Horse Park Monterey County, CA

Located on the former Ft. Ord in Monterey County, the primary goal of Monterey Downs and the Monterey Horse Park is to create a project that will be economically feasible and will also preserve land for equestrian activities, public recreation, and natural open space. The Monterey Horse Park will provide venues for local, national and international equestrian competition, schooling and training, community wide events, concerts and other public gatherings. In addition, the Monterey Downs site will include a mixed use commercial village and housing opportunities to provide a jobs/housing balance and support the economic sustainability of this new destination in the Monterey region. UCP has been retained by the Monterey Downs, LLC to provide development consulting and project management services during the entitlement phase of the project.
