Urban Community Partners was founded in 2001 by Ian C. Gillis and Keith L. McCoy, both seasoned real estate professionals with over 50 years combined experience in planning and developing master planned communities, New Urbanist and Smart Growth communities, urban infill, environmentally contaminated sites, military base reuse, mixed use residential and commercial, large format commercial centers, industrial and residential projects. During their tenure as senior executives with several Fortune 500 international and national corporate real estate companies, Mr. Gillis and Mr. McCoy have set up new development and home building operations in places ranging from Hawaii, Southern California and Northern California and managed real estate assets in excess of $500 Million for a variety of holding companies. They have worked as consultants, developers, asset managers and home builders.
